South Coast NRM is currently implementing a project to improve the value of Carnaby’s cockatoo habitat. The objective of this Tender is to provide revegetation of a total of 27.5 ha of private tenure apportioned over six sites with a mix of key, high value food resource plants for Carnaby’s Cockatoo, emphasizing proteaceous species where possible. For each site, deliverables related to 1. Site assessment, 2. Restoration planning, 3. Site preparation, 4. Planting and, 5. Follow-up weed, or pest control are required. The project will commence as soon as practicable after award of tender with all revegetation to be planted in 2022.
