Tender Description

The Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation (the Foundation) is requesting proposals from suitably qualified organisations to conduct an independent evaluation of the projects awarded under the Gambling harm prevention grants program for women from Vietnamese communities. The primary objective of this grant program is to prevent and reduce the harm from gambling in women from Vietnamese communities. Funded projects aim to strengthen the capacity of communities to address the underlying social and environmental factors which contribute to gambling-harm and related crime among Vietnamese women in their local areas (the east and west of Melbourne).

The Foundation requires an evaluation to build an evidence base around what interventions achieve in community level gambling harm prevention.  This includes identifying individual project’s successes, challenges and lessons learned, to gain a better understanding into the efficacy of various interventions in gambling harm prevention. Additionally, the Foundation is seeking an iterative Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach for this evaluation. The appointed supplier will be responsible for the evaluation design, in collaboration with the Foundation and the projects.

Further details are provided in the request for proposal document.
