Tender Description
SIMEC Mining extend an invitation for your expression of interest to offer construction services to undertake the Travelling Grate Upgrade as part of the Company's Pellet Plant Cold Shutdown programmed for commencement in April 2022.
Capability is being sought in the following areas:
- Workshop space, labour and equipment for pre-assembly activities and pre-shutdown works
- Specialisation in shutdown construction activities, including management and supervision of labour
- Previous history in heavy industrial construction of mechanical and electrical installation under Brownfields or Shutdown conditions. Previous involvement in a Grate replacement or similar Processing Plant construction would be considered favourably.
- Flexible labour resource pool, preferably located within South Australia
- Ability to interact safely and cooperatively amongst other plant shutdown activities.
