This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
Overview. This key role will plan, coordinate, and lead the ongoing design and development of the Army Data Analytics Network (ADAN). In cooperation with other members of the team they will identify and track ADAN potential members. They assist with the on-boarding administration of new members. They maintain frequent communications with ADAN members as a community of practice. The Training Manager leads and coordinated the ongoing design and development of the Army Data Analytics Network (ADAN) / Community of Practice.
Key tasks:
a. In consultation with the ADH team, contribute to the Data Analytics Workforce Development Plan.
b. Identify opportunities to improve recruitment and onboarding processes.
c. Develop employment contracts and agreements.
d. Employ new ADH and ADAN members through contracts, secondments, and contingent workforce.
e. In consultation with the Defence Data Hub:
i. develop and maintain the Army data analytics competency framework.
ii. Develop on-boarding pathways for personas including Public Service, Army Reserve, and full-time Army members. Pathways to be developed for ADAN Members at various levels of commitment and competencies.
iii. Establish education and training services to support implementation of the learning journeys.
f. Prepare Employment Variation Proposals (EVP) in consultation with the ADH team for new starters.
g. Select suitable ADAN members to undertake education and training and coordinate their participation in collaboration with the relevant chain of command.
Areas of Expertise:
a. Education and Training. An understanding of the current industry standards for delivery of effective training and development of training materials
b. An understanding of competency-based training materials.
c. Demonstrated ability to design and develop interactive, learner-centred e-learning modules and experiences
d. Additional expertise in the following areas desirable:
i. HR management and recruitment,
ii. Change Management,
iii. Data Analytics,
iv. Business Process Engineering, and/or
v. Project Management.
