The International Partnership for Blue Carbon (IPBC) is a partnership represented by some 50 organisations throughout the world who share the common goal to protect, sustain and restore blue carbon ecosystems – mangroves, tidal marshes and sea grasses. The Australian Government, through the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, plays a coordinator role for the IPBC which includes the management of the website.

IPBC members would like to add new and upcoming events to an events calendar on the website. The new functionality should allow non-technical users to moderate and change content as required.
