Racing Queensland (RQ), on behalf of the Gold Coast Turf Club (GCTC or the Club), invites suitably qualified companies to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Delivery of the Gold Coast Turf Club – Tracks and Associated Infrastructure Project.

Racing Queensland seeks to gain a more detailed understanding of the supplier market and range of solutions that may be available. Hence, this EOI process may be the first stage of a multi stage procurement process.

The Project is required to upgrade thoroughbred horse racing and training facilities at the GCTC located at Racecourse Drive, Bundall, as part of the approved infrastructure being funded from the Queensland Government Racing Infrastructure Fund (RIF). The funding supports priority infrastructure projects to support the growth and sustainability of the Queensland racing industry.

As part of the Project, the following major work items are identified as being:

• Installation of a new 16m wide all weather Synthetic Track;

• Realigned and upgrade B Grass and Plough Training Tracks;

• Installation of a new equine tunnel for access to the infield;

• Refurbishment to the Grass Course Proper;

• Installation of broadcast lighting elements to the Course Proper; and

• Other Ancillary items to support training, trialling and racing operations.
