NSW Government conducted an Industry Forum on 8th September 2021 to announce a step change to procurement engagements within the Infrastructure Advisory Services category, intended to support better outcomes for suppliers and the NSW Government alike.

Invitation to respond

NSW Government now invites Infrastructure Advisory Services suppliers to participate in a Supplier Input Panel (SIP). The SIP will participate in a feedback process for introducing a commercial framework to the 3 schemes:

• SCM005- Performance and Management Services Scheme (PMS Engagement type 15- Infrastructure Services only)
• SCM1191 & SCM10611 - Consultants in Construction Scheme (CIC)
• SCM0801 - Government Architect's Strategy and Design Scheme (GANSW)

What is in it for your organisation?

This is a significant opportunity for Infrastructure Advisory suppliers to give feedback on setting the commercial framework.

What the Supplier Input Panel process is?

This is the first stage of a structured process that will be used to implement the commercial framework. Suppliers who respond and are subsequently selected will form a panel of representative suppliers (Supplier Input Panel). The Supplier Input Panel will be engaged to provide input to the commercial framework.

What the Supplier Input Panel process is NOT?

The Supplier Input Panel process is neither a new scheme or panel, nor an application for any prequalification scheme.

“Infrastructure Advisory (IA) Services” refers to Engineering, Technical, Design & Advisory Services provided under a fee for service arrangement in relation to any stage in the infrastructure asset lifecycle from concept through to commissioning (and where applicable the ongoing operations and maintenance of the asset) of all new economic and social infrastructure assets (for the NSW Government).
