Applications are open for Round 1 of Minor Works and Equipment Projects through the Creative Capital program.
Overview
The NSW Government has introduced $60 million in strategic funding over two years for the delivery of new and improved cultural infrastructure across NSW.
The Creative Capital fund has been established to meet the demands for facilities to support the creative economy and improve access to and participation in quality cultural experiences across NSW. Cultural equity is at the heart of the new Creative Capital Program and will ensure that more people have access to and can participate in the arts.
Grants will be available to fund new infrastructure or to upgrade existing cultural infrastructure to make existing spaces fit for purpose. Communities will benefit with fit-for-purpose, high performing museums, theatres, performance spaces, galleries, Aboriginal Cultural Centres, Keeping Places and language centres across NSW.Expressions of Interest open on Tuesday 5 October 2021 and close Wednesday 3 November 2021
If the expression of interest is successful, applicants will be invited to submit a full application. Invited applications open on Friday 26 November 2021 and close on Monday 28 March 2022.
When can I apply for funding and how much can I apply for?
Minor Works and Equipment Projects – grants of $5,000 to $250,000; two rounds, each one stage
Round One – Opens Tuesday 21 September 2021 and closes Tuesday 26 October 2021
Round Two – Opens Monday 11 July 2022 and closes Monday 8 August 2022.
