Tender Description
The Lift Off! Artist in Residence (AIR) Commission is an initiative of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) as part of our annual Children’s Festival, Lift Off! The project will culminate in a temporary art installation as part of the 2022 Lift Off! Festival (27 to 30 April) to be installed at a location in or around Dunn Place, TMAG’s City site on the Hobart waterfront.
The commission consists of the following elements:
$15 000 for the creation of the artwork, to include materials and artists fees. To be managed by the artist as per the scope of work agreed to in the Artists Contract
$3 000 For installation costs to be scoped by the artist but managed by TMAG (Lift Off! Festival) in close consultation with the artist
$2 000 For video documentation to be managed by TMAG (Lift Off! Festival) in close consultation with the artist
