1. Evidence Based Parenting Programs
Funding Amount $75,000
Delivery Jan – June 2022
Evidence Based programs are to be selected from the Guidebook list on the Australian Institute of Family Studies website aligned to current and emerging needs of Port Augusta families.

2. Youth Mentoring Program
Funding Amount $20,000
Delivery Jan – June 2022
For boys approximately 8-12 yrs.
Strategies must include: Mentoring
Strategies may include: Day trips on country to connect with cultural practices and learning activities that include cooking and/or bush craft.

3. Connecting Culture through Art
Funding Amount $20,000
Delivery Jan – June 2022
For children approximately 7-12 yrs.
Delivery of at least 8 individual workshops which include representation from diverse groups, exploring identity, art and culture.

4. Healthy and Safe Program
Funding Amount $32,500
Delivery Jan – June 2022
A home-based education program tailored to the needs of parents with learning difficulties. Designed to equip parents of young children with knowledge and skills for managing home dangers, accidents and childhood illness.

5. Infant Feeding Play and Nutrition Program
Funding Amount $32,500
Delivery Jan – June 2022
For caregivers of infants 3, 6, 9, and 12 months.
Educational program that aims to improve parents’ and caregivers’ knowledge and skills around healthy eating, active play, limiting screen time and in turn, healthy grown from the start of life.
