Tender Description
West Gippsland Catchment Management Authority (WGCMA) is seeking proposals for managing all WGCMA IT services – from desktops and other end-user computing devices, through to application and database servers. Currently, most application and database servers run in the current Managed Service provider’s private cloud. WGCMA intend to move these workloads to a public cloud (preferably Azure and being the scope of an Request for Quotation (RFQ) released at this same time as this). Subsequently, the scope of this ITS includes supporting and continuously improving all WGCMA IT infrastructure including that which is migrated to a public cloud.
WGCMA was established by the state government in 1997 to manage land and water resources in the West Gippsland region. We take this role seriously and our aim as a leader in natural resource management is to inspire partnerships and action to achieve improved catchment health.
Please note: WGCMA have released a Request for Quotation for Moving IT Infrastructure to a Public Cloud (Azure preferred). Tenderers of this IT Managed Services ITS are encouraged to also provide their proposal in response to the RFQ for the Move to Public Cloud.
