Mandurah Catholic College is located at 79-97 Coodanup Drive, Mandurah and caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 12 totaling approximately 1700 students. In addition to the student body, the College employs approximately 180 staff members located on the same premises.

Mandurah Catholic College is seeking requests for tender for the provision of cleaning services of buildings on the College grounds.

SCOPE

• Mandurah Catholic College is seeking to tender the lease of the canteen, guided by healthy food choices, to:
• Provide canteen services to Mandurah Catholic College students and staff during school days, for recess and lunch in accordance with the College’s Healthy Food and Drink Choices Procedure.
• Utilise environmentally sustainable practices
• The canteen services are required from 8.00am to 1.45pm every day that students are at school.
• Provide a semester-by-semester menu in a format that clearly displays prices and is available for upload to the College Website.
• Have the ability to provide catering services for lunches, morning teas and afternoon teas for internal College meetings and functions.
• Ensure that all services provided are in line with all requirements under the Healthy Options WA: Food and Nutrition Policy for WA Health Services and Facilities (Healthy Options WA Policy).
• Provide online ordering.
• Provide EFTPOS payment facilities.

Opening Hours

The opening hours, at a minimum, for the canteen and servery will be:

• 8.00am to 8.40am
• 10.20am to 10.50am (Recess)
• 12.30pm to 1.10pm (Lunch)

The operator’s submission must include how they intend to operate the canteen business.

Equipment

The following equipment and services are provided by Mandurah Catholic College for use by the tenant:
Hot and cold water supply, sink and hand washing facilities.

• Benches and counter tops, power points, lights, and fittings.
• Commercial gas stove and exhaust extraction unit.
• Cool Room – including display fridge.
• Culinaire Vertical Hot Cupboard.
• Domestic dishwasher.
• Microwave.
• Security coverage – security call outs necessary due to fault from the tenant will be paid by the tenant.

The successful tenderer will need to communicate with the College regarding any signage they are considering.
