The Depot Redevelopment will sustainably support the existing and future operations of the business whilst ensuring important environmental considerations are met. The new Depot will encompass the operations of the Public Domain and Services Section which include but are not limited to:

• Roads and Drainage
• Parks and Gardens
• Signage
• Sport and Recreation

The Depot Redevelopment generally consists of a main central warehouse style building comprising of offices, amenities, warehousing, vehicular and equipment maintenance workshops, fabrication workshops, divided, secure, non-visible and open storage for materials, goods, machinery, vehicles and equipment. Construction will also include drive through bays, external car parking, wash out facilities and other ancillary storages including covered equipment storage, road construction material bins, chemical store and oil store.

The site will also encompass a training room which will double as an Emergency Operations Centre and will include separate car parking. The development will require an integrated security system with different levels of access and the ability to change access requirements for emergency operations.

Port Stephens Council is seeking tenders for the Demolition of the existing Depot Facility and the Construction and Fitout of the new Depot Facility at the intersection of Freeth St and Kangaroo St, Raymond Terrace.
