Tender Description
The Australian Forest Contractors Association (AFCA) is calling for expressions of interest from software providers and/or an authorised resellers and partners to deliver a Software as a Service (SaaS) portal and audit management tool for the ForestFit certification program.
ForestFit is being jointly developed by industry and the New South Wales (NSW) government in partnership with AFCA. ForestFit has:
• successfully piloted an industry endorsed forest contractor Training program
• designed a Certification program for contracting businesses that is currently being piloted, which will conclude December 2021.
Ernst and Young (EY) is assisting with the end to end development of the Certification program. As part of the contractual arrangements EY included the use of their audit tool, EY Digital Capture (EYDC), to provide the technology solution for assurance and certification if required.
As the post-pilot stage approaches, AFCA is exploring options for engaging a software provider, reseller and partners to deliver an end to end SaaS portal and Audit management tool solution for ForestFit Certification.
The Expression of Interest (EOI) aims to provide prospective respondents with background information on AFCA and the ForestFit Certification program objectives and an opportunity to prequalify based on commercial and functional scope compliance. The EOI intends to determine high-level suitability of respondents that may be provided with the detailed tender documentation for the Request for Proposal (RFP).
Respondents are required to complete all EOI schedules in the attached form:
• Schedule A – EOI form
• Schedule B – Solution Scope
• Schedule C – Acknowledgements.
