Construction of a concrete slab and footings for a temporary stores structure.

Site Establishment

The Subcontractor is to establish site at the MIA pad area. Any costs involved in mobilising to and establishing at site are to be included in the subcontractor’s proposal.

The Subcontractor is required to form, place steel, pour, broom finish, and cure the slab and footings as per the design and specifications.

Design (see drawings S5.01(1) and S5.02(1) (both dated 27 Oct) includes:

- 21.7 x 12.8 m primary slab + 3 x 12.8m secondary foundation
- approximately 100m3 of concrete (to be free issued by MacKellar)

Specification (see Structural Specification Revision 1 for the Temporary Stores Pavement & Foundations).

Programme

Construction start: Mid November 2021

Construction finish: 15 December 2021

Subcontractor’s Obligations

• Supply all materials other than those listed below.
• Be NCOP compliant
• Provide copies of certifcates of currency for the following Insurance Policies
o Workers Compensation
o Public Liability (minimum $10M)
• Obtain all permits required that have not been listed under MacKellar Obligations
• Comply with MacKellar and Bravus Health and Safety, Community, Environmental and Quality Procedures
• Always have plant involved in this work that is approved for use on site by Bravus (See STD-007, FRM-025 and FRM-029 for plant and minor equipment specs)
• Always have people undertaking this work who are approved for work on site by Bravus.
• Always have a supervisor onsite, in charge of this work who is appointed by Bravus as a supervisor on this mine.
• The Subcontractor shall leave the works area tidy and remove all excess material from the works area
• The Subcontractor shall remove all rubbish generated from the works.
• The Subcontractor shall correct any defects to the works.

MacKellar Obligations

• Survey set out
• In ground service location
• Detailed excavation at underside of slab and footings
• Supply and delivery of concrete including testing
• Flights to and from site via Rockhampton or Townsville
• Meals and accommodation at either Labona Camp or Camp 6
• Crib and ablution facilities on site

Contract Form

This contract will be a Schedule of rates subcontract.
