Tender Description
Overview
The Great Eastern Highway Bypass Interchanges Project (herein referred to as the “Project”) is a Project that will enhance connectivity, relieve congestion, and improve safety in Perth’s Eastern Metropolitan Region.
The works undertaken by the Greater Connect Alliance will primarily include:
• Two Major interchanges at:
• Great Eastern Highway Bypass and Roe Highway
• Great Eastern Highway Bypass and Abernethy Road
• An extension of Lloyd Street, from its current end point adjacent to Bunnings to the south of Clayton Street to the Great Eastern Highway Bypass, including a new bridge over the Helena River
• Upgrades to the Great Eastern Highway Bypass, including removal of the existing intersection at Stirling Crescent
• Upgrades to parts of Abernethy Road
• A new road bridge over the PTA / Arc Infrastructure rail line
• Upgrade of Roe Highway between Talbot Road and Clayton Street, including a bridge duplication over Helena River
• Completion of the 30km Principal Shared Path network on Roe Highway between Great Eastern Highway and Kwinana Freeway
• Modification of existing utilities and services to enable construction
• Landscaping.
General Scope of Works – Dewatering
Outline Scope
This package generally includes the design, provision, installation, maintenance, operation, data reporting and removal of temporary
dewatering equipment, including extraction, treatment and reinjection, at the following locations:
• Bridge 1897, at the intersection of Great Eastern Highway Bypass and Abernathy Road – abutment footings,
• Bridge 1898, at the intersection of Great Eastern Highway Bypass and Roe Highway – central pier footing,
• Bridge 1899, Roe highway new southbound carriageway over Helena River – pier footings, and
• Drainage Installation in the vicinity of Bridge 1897.
• Refer to the Pricing Tables for further quantification and work breakdown.
• In the event of a conflict in quantities between the Pricing Tables and other documents, the Pricing Table quantities take precedence.
Inclusions
The Subcontractor’s Scope of Works generally includes all labour, plant, equipment, supervision, permanent and temporary materials,
subcontracts, and any other items required to carry out the works, unless specifically excluded in Section 4 of this Scope of Works.
Particular note is made of the following inclusions:
• All plant, equipment, materials, labour and supervision,
• Provision and management of all cranage and other lifting equipment, unless noted under Section 3,
• Supply, storage and management of fuel,
• Temporary power and lighting,
• Estimated quantities and durations for dewatering are as follows:
Exclusions
The following items are specifically excluded from this package:
• Dewatering permits (if required),
• Survey,
• Site ablution and crib facilities,
• Access routes,
• Laydown areas,
• Crane pads,
• Traffic management
