Tender Description
This Scope of Work outlines the requirements for surface enabling works at the OZ Minerals Prominent Hill mine. The Contractor shall supply all management, labour, supervision, equipment, services and materials, other than free issue materials, and include all necessary expenses for all construction, installation, temporary works, construction verification, commissioning and acceptance testing (where required) of the works described below, all in accordance with the specifications, drawings and other documents referred to in the Scope of Works.
OZ Minerals Prominent Hill is undertaking an expansion of the Prominent Hill Operation. Critical to the success of this expansion is to ensure future electrical demand can be met and communications networks expanded to support operations. This Scope of Work (SOW) is for the electrical, mechanical and civil design (where required), manufacture, sourcing, and delivery to site, installation, and commissioning of the following items:
• 11kV HV supply from the Malu East Switchroom to a designated underground cuddy in the Malu Deeps Mine.
• Portions of 11kV cabling from the Ankata Switchroom to a designated underground cuddy in the Malu Deeps Mine.
• Fibre optic cabling from Malu East Substation to designated underground cuddy in the Malu Deeps Mine.
• Portions of fibre optic cabling from the Ankata Switchroom to a designated underground cuddy in the Malu Deeps Mine.
• Installation of a RMU Skid at the underground Malu Deeps Substation
• Headframe Lightning Protection and Earthing
• Installation of underground electrical and piping services from Malu East Substation area to a new services culvert
• 11kV HV supply from the Malu East Switchroom to Shaft Sinking RMU Location.
• Supply and installation of culvert services and services tree
