Tender Description

Lycee Condorcet has an ongoing modernization project of the extension of its primary school. The new building is constructed by Llyod with the delivery date planned in March-April 2022. The new building will offer 9 new classrooms on 2 levels, offices, reception area, gymnasium, pedagogical kitchen, dormitory for smaller students, motor skills room and underground parking for staff.

Project scope

All the spaces in the new building need to be equipped with the adapted furniture and be ready for use at the delivery date. As the new building has different types of commun spaces, the tender is splitted into 2 lots with a working group dedicated to each lot (consisting of teachers, Facility manager, Business Director, Primary school director and Project Coordinator). A separate tender will be launched for each lot.

This expression of needs is for:

LOT 2 - Motor skills room equipment. The specificity of this lot is that it is designated to be used by children of young age (from 3 to 6 years old). The equipment should be durable, safe and attractive.

The other lot is:

LOT 1 - School and Office furniture.

  • Manage a variable delivery date. The equipment has to be delivered just in time before the delivery date of the building which can vary due to the COVID-19 restrictions in place

  • Bright, simple and functional furniture of high quality for motor skills room (50% of the decision making factor)
  • Fitting in the spaces in respect with all safety rules (plans are attached to the expression of needs)
  • Possibility to vary the delivery date (tender participants have to specify their conditions for this option)
  • Respect of the budget (50% of the decision making factor)
  • Identified risks
  • Change of the delivery date of the building. Reception of the furniture much earlier or later.
