Tender Description

This Scope of Supply sets out the requirements for the selection, design, supply, manufacture, inspection, testing, quality control, quality assurance, protection, packaging, insurances, statutory compliance, certification, delivery, commissioning and acceptance testing for one (1) off complete Rock Breaker Assembly to be installed underground at the OZ Minerals Prominent Hill mine.

The Rock Breaker shall be supplied complete, including all necessary supply for complete and proper operation of the equipment.

The Scope of Supply includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:

1. One (1) Fixed Rock Breaker assembly

2. The Rock Breaker supply shall include:

i. Hydraulic power pack including skid mounting and enclosure, pump, pump motor, hand pump, oil reservoir, oil cooler, fixed piping, oil filters, pressure relief valves, isolation valves, breathers, drip tray sized to 150% of reservoir volume and other ancillary equipment

ii. Electrical equipment and instrumentation in compliance with the preferred equipment specification including electrical control panel with motor starters, fibre optic media converter, instrumentation and field devices for status monitoring and alarm switches for level, temperature and pressure; local wiring, isolators, cabling, support, terminations and glands, terminated in a local termination box;

iii. Standard factory length hydraulic hose on rock breaker assembly including all fittings and fasteners required to connect interconnecting hosing and/or piping (by others) between the Rock Breaker and Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU);

iv. Rock breaker boom and slewing assembly suitable for the reach requirements and material properties referenced in the datasheets, including mounting base plate, hydraulic hammer and moil;

v. Automatic lubrication system, mounted to the hydraulic power pack including, reservoir, pump, tubing, hose, pipe, valves, pump motor, suitable electrical, control, instrumentation and monitoring field devices and local wiring including isolators, terminations, glanding,

completely terminated in a local termination box. Lubrication system to provide adjustable fixed volumes of grease delivery to cylinder end joints, rock breaker assembly pins, slew pinion and internal gear and slew gearbox and motor where not sealed for life. All grease reservoirs to be mounted on HPU. The hydraulic hammer shall include a dedicated lubrication system with reservoir mounted on the HPU.

vi. Hydraulic controls mounted on the Rock Breaker for maintenance purposes. The maintenance controls shall include the necessary joystick controls and push buttons to support basic testing and troubleshooting requirements; Prominent Hill – PHOX Project

vii. One (1) radio remote controller consisting of all controls necessary for remote operation and monitoring of the Rock Breaker from an operator enclosure positioned adjacent to the Rock breaker in the Crusher workshop. Controller shall include joystick controllers,

push buttons, communications equipment and instrumentation for monitoring critical operating parameters in accordance with the supplier’s recommendations. Supply shall include one (1) charging station and one (1) spare battery. Radio receiver to be mounted on rock breaker assembly for line of sight operation from the operator cabin in the workshop;

viii. One (1) hard wired controller mounted on a structural support stand consisting of all controls necessary for remote operation and monitoring of the Rock Breaker from an operator enclosure in the crusher workshop. The Control panel shall include joystick

controllers, push buttons, communications equipment and instrumentation for monitoring critical operating parameters in accordance with the supplier’s recommendations. Supply includes control cable;

ix. Perimeter Control system installed onto the rock breaker assembly including related instrumentation, wiring and any other control hardware and software required to operate and maintain the perimeter control system.
