Tender Description

Prequalified TMR Road Construction Contractors at levels R2 / F3 and above are invited to tender for the 'Midgee Rest Area Construction' project on the Bruce Highway.

 
Major works include construction of heavy vehicle rest area, new access off Gavial Gracemere Road, asphalt surfacing, new toilet facilities, shelters and tanks.
 
A mandatory Pre-lodgement meeting will be held on Monday 10 January 2022.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the time and method of the meeting is still to be confirmed. Interested parties are requested to notify the Tender Manager by 2:00pm Thursday 6 January 2022 if they wish to attend. 
 
Tenderers are required to hold Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation and are advised the Building Code 2016 and Queensland Code apply to this project.
