Tender Description
East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) is a vibrant, fully accredited (by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards and the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency), multi-campus health service situated in the north-west of Victoria. Covering the land first inhabited by the Dja Dja Wurrung, Barengi Gadjin, and Jaara Jaara people. EWHS encompasses the townships of Birchip, Charlton, Donald, Wycheproof, and St Arnaud, St Arnaud is our largest town with a population of less than 3000; the smallest being Birchip with approximately 700 people. EWHS supplies services to a total population of approximately 10,000 people,
Evolving in a community predominantly known for broad acre cropping and grazier farming, EWHS is an amalgamation of three local hospitals and two Bush Nursing hospitals. Administering a $23 million budget, EWHS is focused on improving the health of its communities with a dedicated team, consisting of over 400 staff members spread across the five campuses located in Birchip, Charlton, Donald, Wycheproof, and St Arnaud.
The health service is seeking Tender Responses for the provision of Salary Packaging Services as outlined in Part A.2 for an initial period of 5 years with 3 x 1 year extention options exersicable at EWHS’ discretion.
