St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is located in the regional town of Corowa, New South Wales. This is a small country school operating under the Catholic Schools Office of Wagga Wagga.
The project is jointly funded through the Catholic Block Grant Authority and the Catholic Schools Foundation and will deliver improvements to two of the school’s buildings.
This project includes the refurbishment of two existing buildings (Block D and Block E) to create a more modern and usable spaces, as well as the construction of a lift. The project will create a more user-friendly environment through partial demolition of internal spaces and refurbishment to provide improved functionality.
Refurbishment of Block E will involve demolition of internal walls and built furniture, and construction and fit out of a new administration area, staff facilities, amenities, library and maker space. An upgrade of the internal stairway and a lift to service both
Block D & E will also be constructed.
Block D works will involve the demolition of internal walls and the construction of partitions to provide additional space and connectivity through the classrooms. There will be aesthetic works consisting of painting and flooring through some locations.
The successful contractor will preferably have a proven track record of delivering complex projects in a “live” educational environment.
