Tender Details
Tender Description
Brisbane North PHN (the PHN) is inviting tenders from eligible organisations to deliver a Safe Space for people in emotional distress and/or suicidal crisis, in Redcliffe from June 2022. This document provides applicants with advice and guidance about submitting a tender.
Applicants are advised to carefully review the assessment criteria and guidance points prior to completing the Tender Application Form. Closing 2 March 2022.
The Safe Space model of service delivery (Appendix 1) has been developed using a consultative process with lived experience representatives and health service providers in the respective catchment areas of North Brisbane.
This tender requires that the successful service provider will also undertake additional codesign with the Redcliffe community, including people with a lived experience of distress and/or suicidal crisis and health professionals to ensure the service meets the specific needs of this catchment.
It is expected that the successful service provider will honour the findings of the initial Codesign and address recommendations for further codesign to include further consultation with priority population groups, and how to ensure a no wrong door approach to service delivery, identified in the summary report (Appendix 2).
Three of the four planned safe spaces in the Brisbane North PHN region have already been procured to operate in the Caboolture, Strathpine, and Inner Brisbane catchments of region. It is expected that these safe spaces will be operational in early 2022.
The Redcliffe safe space is being commissioned to complete the network of safe space locations throughout the region.
