Tender Description
Greenplan Forestry Ltd are seeking expressions of interest from parties wishing to participate in a process competing to become the appointed Harvesting and Marketing Manager for their approximate 7,340 hectares tree crop in 63 partnerships, located primarily in the King Country.
Harvesting of approximately 190 hectares of well-tended, mature Radiata, established in 1994 may potentially commence in late 2022. Harvest volume of approx. 100,000t is expected in 2023 and may exceed approx. 400,000t/annum for the following 10-year period.
The forest is situated to take advantage of both the domestic processing options at Te Kuiti and the CNI, and the export market outlets at Mount Maunganui and New Plymouth.
Interested parties should also declare and provide details of any rights or interests in Greenplan forest holdings, including any options, right of first refusal or other interests.
- Expressions of Interest are required to be submitted by 5.00 pm, Friday 18thth February 2022.
- Parties approved to enter Step 2 – Due Diligence are invited to inspect the forest with Forme by appointment only, during the week commencing the 21st of February 2022.
- Further visits by due diligence teams will be by scheduled appointment under certain conditions.
- Harvest management proposals required to be submitted by 5.00 pm, Friday 18th March 2022.
