The Experience, Research and Design Team in the Simplified Trade Systems Implementation Taskforce have completed mapping the end-to-end experiences for importers and exporters to identify pain points users experience and opportunity areas across different agencies and organisations.
The team are using these insights and opportunity areas to work with businesses to co-design and test what an ideal future trade experience would look like. This includes testing the value of a cross-agency 'tell us once' trade system for businesses and identifying feasibility constraints and considerations.
We are looking for specialist roles in Strategic Design, Service Design and User Research to work alongside a highly collaborative and passionate human-centred design team to improve trade experiences for businesses.
Design Roles
We are looking for individuals with skills across Strategic Design, Service Design and/or User Research to be part of multi-disciplinary teams across Discovery and Alpha. Individuals will work as part of a team to complete targeted research with businesses and engagement activities across government to help inform future trade proposals.
Role specific tasks
• Plan, facilitate and conduct various user research activities.
• Support the shaping of actionable insights to inform decisions and recommendations.
• Engage with stakeholders across the taskforce to communicate work and identify opportunities to align to deliver shared strategic objectives.
• Design and facilitate workshops with businesses and Government stakeholders. Workshops may include co-design workshops, prioritisation, research share-backs and feasibility discussions.
• Regularly develop and communicate progress and findings to senior stakeholders.
