The Experience, Research and Design team in the Simplified Trade Systems Implementation Taskforce take a human-centred design approach to identify whole of government opportunities to improve the experience for importers and exporters. The team conducts Discoveries and Alphas to explore opportunities and test elements of a future trade system with businesses and identify feasibility considerations.
We are looking for a specialist Performance Analyst to work alongside a highly collaborative and passionate human-centred design team to improve trade experiences for businesses.
Performance Analyst
As a performance analyst you will inform and advise on measurement work across the taskforce. This will include recommendations for baselining the current experience for importers and exporters and identifying how we might track progress towards a better future experience.
Role specific tasks
• Inform a strategy for measuring the impact of trade interventions across the APS.
• Contribute to the development of proposals to support national and international stakeholder engagements.
• Work with subject matter experts across government to develop practical and robust modelling approaches that combine a variety of data sources, including quantitative and qualitative sources from desktop research, existing and new user research and service analytics.
• Conduct quantitative analyses to recommend human centred improvements to government trade services.
