The Experience, Research and Design team in the Simplified Trade Systems Implementation Taskforce take a human-centred design approach to identify whole of government opportunities to improve the experience for importers and exporters. The team conducts Discoveries and Alphas to explore opportunities and test elements of a future trade system with businesses and identify feasibility considerations.
We are looking for a Research Support Officer to work alongside a highly collaborative and passionate human-centred design team to improve trade experiences for businesses.
As a research support officer, you will work with the team to support and facilitate research and engagement activities with businesses and government stakeholders.
Role specific tasks
• Manage the research participant recruitment process, including identifying and engaging with businesses.
• Assist in the planning and facilitation of research activities, including concept testing and co-design, and ideation workshops.
• Ability to undertake desktop research and identify knowledge gaps for further investigation
• Coordinate and provide support for program activities, including working groups and stakeholder workshops.
• Develop productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the creation of program documentation, including reports, presentations and talking points.
