 Regional Tourism - Commercial and Accommodation Options

 
 
National Trust of Australia (Victoria) is seeking to engage with a project partner/s to develop commercial models across one, two or all of three or our identified flagship regional properties to increase visitation across a broader market including families, education, corporate and a younger demographic and drive significant revenue supplying new sustainable income streams including Membership opportunities.
 
The three properties, Mooramong (Pyrenees Shire), Gulf Station (Yarra Ranges) and Barwon Park Mansion (Surf Coast Shire) offer a variety of commercial opportunities that can be supported by unique and compelling cultural and heritage interpretation.
 
Identified options include:
  • Food and beverage options including café, produce store, restaurant and catering
  • Hospitality and conferencing facilities supporting corporate and education use.
  • Glamping and tiny houses, low impact
  • Education accommodation;
  • Permanent or semi permanent pod style accommodation;
  • Luxury hotel accommodation; and
  • Other opportunities as identified by operators.
The project partner will be responsible for developing concepts supported by a feasibility plan and delivering the project with reasonable commercial terms and time frames. Funding may be made available to support the feasibility.
 
National Trust is holding inspections at the following properties to assist in the preparation of your EOI response. This will also provide an opportunity to ask pertinent question relating to each location.

Barwon Park Mansion, 105 Inverleigh Road, Winchelsea, Friday 18th February, 10am
Mooramong, 635 Mooramong Road, Skipton, Friday 18th February, 1.30pm
