Tender Description

The Project requires a contractor for provision of professional licensed security services to support the Project site including accommodation and recreational areas.

 
The scope of works will cover two phases: Construction period of approximately 24 months including a 450 bed construction
camp.
 
Ongoing operations post construction period including a workforce of 480 and Accommodation Village housing 280 beds The Scope of Works for this package includes:
• Recruitment of Local Workforce Participants with appropriate qualifications that are available within the project construction workforce pool
• Conduct site visitor inductions for all site visitors.
• Issue and maintain site identification tags
• Provision of a site access control service to the construction camp and accommodation village during the construction phase
• Provision of vehicles to undertake regular perimeter and asset specific patrols as required
• Management/recording of ingress, egress of employees, contractors, visitors and other personnel and materials delivered to the site
• Ensure that visitor/contractor/other personnel entry to the site are in line with Company access and induction requirements
• Manage escort of visitors and deliveries as required
• Undertake bag and vehicle searches as required under Project polices/procedures to identify restricted, unauthorised or prohibited items
• Monitor site VSS (CCTV), emergency calls and respond in accordance with the site Emergency Response Plan
• Undertake daily, weekly and monthly reporting as agreed with the Project
Proponent
• Liaise with Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), Queensland Police Service (QPS) and Queensland Fire and Rescue Service (QFRS) where required for emergency medical evacuations
• Liaise with on site Paramedic and Rescue Services provider
 
 
The selected Contractor shall provide all management, training, supervision, labour, specified equipment, including all furnishings, tools, consumables and operating supplies, materials and incidentals, and perform all necessary operations required for
the Scope of Works generally described above.
 
The selected contractor shall provide all security personnel with appropriate uniforms and PPE required to perform necessary operations in accordance with site requirements.
 
The Project Proponent shall provide workforce transportation from Cairns, via Aurukun to site, and accommodation on site as well as diesel, a concrete batch plant and site security.

Glencore is committed to the continued implementation of the VP’s and contractual provisions will detail our expectations that all Contractor employees will complete awareness training on Glencore’s commitments to Human Rights including the principles of de-escalation and the use of force and weapons.
