As a central agency within the Victorian Government, the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) plays a leading role in economic, financial, and resource management to support the Government in delivering its policies.

The Department has overall responsibility for formulating and implementing the Government's longer-term economic and budgetary objectives, which are to achieve economic growth for all regions of the State and increase the living standards of all Victorians.

Victoria has legislated a Net Zero Emissions target by 2050. As part of this transition, the Victorian Government released its Zero Emissions Vehicle Roadmap supported by a package of policies and programs.

One of these is an output initiative for DTF to encourage Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) uptake across the government fleet through direct procurement and infrastructure upgrades to enable the replacement of 400 vehicles to ZEVs by the end of 2022-23.

As part of the Victorian Government’s legislation for Net Zero Emissions target by 2050 and Zero Emissions Vehicle (ZEV) roadmap, DTF is looking to engage a Design and Construct (D&C) Contractor to procure and install electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) and associated infrastructure.

The Performance Specification accompanying this invitation, outlines the applicable standards, technical requirements, and necessary documentation for the design, supply, and installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.
