Tender Description
The City of Cockburn (The Principal) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced civil contractor to provide Road Construction Services at the intersection of Rockingham Road and Phoenix Road, located within Hamilton Hill, WA.
It is the Principals intention to remove the existing traffic signals and install a roundabout. The roundabout will incorporate a raised plateaux treatment to control vehicle speeds.
The proposed road upgrade includes undertaking earthworks, storm water drainage, pavements, kerbing, resurfacing, footpaths, relocation and protection of existing services, street lighting, sign/line marking and soft and hard landscaping.
It is intended that the works start in May 2022 and completed by 31st August 2022.
The proposed Contract shall be in force for a period of sixteen (16) weeks from the date of contract award.

TENDER BRIEFING / SITE INSPECTION – MANDATORY
Attendance at this meeting is mandatory.
Failure to attend this briefing will render the Tenderer ineligible to submit a Tender.
Tenderers are required to attend a Tender briefing on:
Thursday, 24th February 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am (AWST).

City of Cockburn Operations Centre, 53 Wellard Street Bibra Lake WA
The briefing will provide Tenderers with the opportunity to clarify any uncertainties with the Principal prior to the closing of the Tender.
