AIATSIS Digital Services team requires additional skills and capacity in ICT Business Analyst and Project Management. The ICT BA/PM will be required to work across a number of small projects providing documentation, requirements analysis, technical writing, business analysis and project coordination and management. The BA/PM will support a variety of complex and interesting projects under the AIATSIS Digital Strategy and Digital Modernisation Program. This role would be well suited to an experienced BA looking to transition into a Project Management role and someone who enjoys working in fast paced, smaller ICT environments. The range of projects they will support and lead extend from Records Management, M365, Business Process re-engineering and implementation of data platforms, collecting management systems and digital asset management systems supporting our collection environment.

The BA/PM must have a high level of documentation, presentation and roadmap development skills to support the definition and presentation of transformation projects, be comfortable in leading workshops and anaylsing business processes and issues with business users to determine solutions to those issues.

The occupant must possess good communication skills, both written and verbal, risk management, be organized and adaptable, able to garner support and goodwill of colleagues and business peers and influence outcomes.

AIATSIS is undertaking significant Digital Modernisation Program across all business areas. In this role, you will apply your extensive experience in business transformation, software implementation and stakeholder engagement to deliver these initiatives including EDRMS, Collection Management System and processes. You will also work collaboratively with other Project Managers and software development team and vendors to help build an integrated, corporate-wide solutions.

Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will take a leading role in managing issues and providing strategic advice relating specifically to key projects, enabling technical capabilities to be leveraged and scaled as the business evolves. You will communicate effectively and negotiate with stakeholders to agree on scope boundaries, schedules, quality and budgets. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project documentation, report on progress, oversee procurements, manage contracts and manage budgets as they relate to project delivery.
