This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

The AIATSIS Digital Services team currently has a number of exciting projects and work underway to enhance its ICT environment and capabilities. To support this, we are seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator who will play an essential role in developing and maintaining a SharePoint environment. You’ll be part of a small team and have the opportunity to learn from experienced team leaders and experts.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of SharePoint infrastructures including experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and conducting performance analysis. You will have the ability to provide high level support including installation, configuration, user authentication and maintain SharePoint servers, software and requirements.

We are looking for a motivated go-getter who is able to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage their priorities and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.

Under general direction, be responsible for the following:

  • Work as part of a small team to provide a high quality client focused ICT environment;
  • Administer and maintain the corporate SharePoint infrastructure, including daily monitoring, troubleshooting, backups and performance analysis;
  • Support the installation, configuration, security, user authentication and maintenance of all SharePoint servers, equipment, and software related to SharePoint infrastructure as required;
  • Support and contribute to the design of and migration to 365 apps and services;
  • Support and maintain corporate database systems and associated software, including monitoring, backup and recovery services;
  • Perform typical system administrative activities such as user/site creation, user training, patching, backup, restore and issue resolution;
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date system and software documentation, and procedures; and
  • Assist with ICT infrastructure project, support and upgrade as required.

Senior service desk support / administration level two and three

• Ensure the reliable operation of AIATSIS ICT equipment.
• O365 products implementation and management
• Support senior system administrator to implement software deployments through SCCM
• Support Records Team to maximise capability from SharePoint / Record Point as the Institute’s Electronic Document Record Management System (EDRMS)
• Support specialist machines for Collections digitisation team
• Manage system access and perform system administration tasks.
• Manage jobs, record details and resolve issues using an IT Service Desk and Ticketing system
• Provide guidance to clients on ICT policies, procedures and technical issues.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures, user guides and documentation for the ICT system within AIATSIS
• IT Service Desk coverage and escalation from ICT Support Officer’s.
• Office 365 administration – Manage TEAMS and Channels and user permissions.
• In depth Microsoft 365 configuration and administration for MS Teams/OneDrive/SharePoint
• Support and manage users on Microsoft Azure and integration of 0365 application/products
• Microsoft Active Directory management, including security management using Group Policy Objects.
• Manage mailboxes on Microsoft Exchange Server Hybrid environment (onsite and Azure)
• Use / implement PowerShell scripts to automate processes where required.
• Provide 0365 Training to staff members
• Market research for ICT equipment procurement
• Undertake other duties as required.
