Tender to design and construct storm water plumbing to suit an pre-existing building. Current roof plumbing specifications are insufficient for rainwater in larger than normal downpours.
Deliverables on main building roof and veranda awning roof:
1. Sumps be installed on all box gutter outlets
2. Box gutter outlets be upgraded from 75mm x 75mm to 100mm x 100mm
3. Upgrade all box gutter outlets from 90mm PVC to 100mm PVC and discharge directly below the outlets.
4. Downpipes discharged to the ground to be upgraded so as 200mm x 200mm pits are installed below downpipes so as to create a physical air gap for water to discharge in the event that below ground drainage becomes blocked from leaf litter.
5. Existing 50mm box gutter outlets in the eaves to be upgraded to 100mm
6. Areas of incompatible materials, specifically galvanised iron and zincalume, have started to corrode and needs to be painted with rust neutraliser (e.g Noxide)
7. Include a pricing option to potentially increase the size of underground stormwater PVC pipe to allow for water to move efficiently from site.
