Tender Description
Bushfire Recovery Grants for Community Facilities provide funding to community groups and social enterprises to help them repair and improve fire damaged facilities.
Overview
Funding is available to help community groups and social enterprises to build, upgrade and repair important local facilities that were destroyed or damaged during the 2019/2020 bushfires.
Examples of eligible projects include:
- upgrades to kitchens or bathrooms at community halls
- repair community hall or building that have been damaged or destroyed (e.g. energy efficiency, general repairs)
- repair a playground, skate park pavilion or other outdoor facilities that have been damaged or destroyed
- projects that support community recovery and resilience
What are the eligibility criteria?
To be eligible, you must:
- be either a community, not-for-profit or an Aboriginal organisation or,
- a social enterprise with a clearly stated purpose or mission related specifically to supporting bushfire recovery
- have a current Australian business number (ABN)
- be undertaking your project in an eligible local government area (LGA)
