The project is to fabricate and install additional support posts and glass capping along the entire length of the internal Balustrades system, on both the stairs and balconies at MIT’s Manukau Station Road Building. The design details are attached in Appendix 1a for Stairs, and Appendix 1b for Balconies. MIT is seeking to appoint a contractor who has experience in similar projects, and can deliver the project end-to-end with minimal interruption to the building occupants and users, safely.

MIT is looking for credible providers who have the capability, experience and infrastructure to deliver this work in safely, with minimal noise generated during normal work hours. The tenderer will need to evaluate the work site and determine whether works will be noisy and disruptive, and if so may choose to submit a quote based on ‘out of hours’ work.
