NGH Pty Ltd (NGH) has been engaged by NSW National Parks and Wildlife PO Box 282, Narcoma, NSW, 2546) to undertake an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment (ACHA) for the proposed 1080 Beach Visitor Precinct at Eurobodalla National Park, within three precincts: Pooles Beach, Seconds Beach and 1080 Beach.
The project area is located within Lot 209 DP499774 and Lot 227 DP499771 at Mystery Bay, within the Eurobodalla Local Government Area The project is intended to increase visitor safety, improve accessibility. and meet the growing demand for visitor services and experience in the park.
The purpose of the consultation with Aboriginal people is to assist the Proponent in the preparation of the ACHA and to be involved in the consultation as part of the lodgment of an Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permit (AHIP) application which is required prior to the works being undertaken.
In order to fulfil the requirements, set out in the Heritage NSW Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Consultation Requirements for Proponents 2010, NGH is seeking interested Aboriginal parties who hold cultural knowledge of the assessment area to register their interest in the consultation process for the project and to assist in the determination of cultural significance of any Aboriginal objects subject to the application.

Closing date for registration is Wednesday 27th April 2022. Those registering an interest will be contacted to discuss the project further.
Those who do register are advised that their details will be provided to Heritage NSW and the Wagonga Local Aboriginal Land Council, unless they specifically advise in writing that their details are not to be forwarded
