ACCC is looking for an IT Release Manager to work collaboratively with projects and business stakeholders to ensure that all core releases across both project and BAU streams are managed and deployed in a timely manner. This is a contract role to 12 August 2022.

Key responsibilities:

- Coordinate the major and minor releases for the IT program of work
- Create and maintain a master release plan for the IT program of work
- Prepare and obtain approval for the release and deployment plan for each release
- Communicate deployment-related tasks such as plans, timelines, requirements etc. between the project and delivery teams
- Track release progress, proactively find and resolve issues
- Co-ordination of release artefacts and overseeing incorporation into broader documentation
- Identify and manage the risks that may adversely impact schedule of releases
- Prepare and manage deployment Runsheet
- Co-ordinate production deployment
- Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release
- Plan for and provide weekly updates on release activities

The role can be based in Canberra or Sydney.
