The City of Whyalla has secured an innovative/contemporary modular pod with associated exterior additions. The pod has fixed air conditioning, walling, flooring, lighting, waste outlets and power points. The infrastructure was formerly used by the State Government for the Adelaide 500 and Tasting Australia events and has been co-designed between the City of Whyalla and bespoke designers to fit in with the incremental transformation of the Whyalla foreshore.

The pod provides approx. 41sq m of kitchen, 53sq m of interior dining and 47sq m outdoor dining space. Adjoining the pod is a playground, grassed reserves, Ada Ryan Gardens, along with several public carparks and walkways along the foreshore.

It is an exciting time in Whyalla, with major public and private investment having already commenced.

An innovative entrepreneur will have the opportunity to be a part of this exciting future, operating a café with stunning views of the Upper Spencer Gulf and of course within easy walking distance of Whyalla’s multi award winning circular jetty.
