Defence Science and Technology are looking for a highly motivated, proactive and qualified Program Manager
Program Manager Role:
- Accomplishes strategic objectives by overseeing multiple project activities
- Experience in providing leadership to senior and junior project managers, foster a positive team environment, and provide direction in ambiguous situations.
- Strong stakeholder and client management experience skills
- Ensure that projects are adhering to established plans, standards, processes and procedures.
- Understand, translate and prioritise project inter-dependencies into actionable plans.
- Track and report all inter-dependencies between multiple projects and other Programs
- Track multiple Projects cost, scope, schedules and performance against established program milestones; reporting the status to management on a regular basis
Program Manager Qualifications / Skills:
- Success in managing multiple, large IT projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- Outstanding attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture
- Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills including and ability to actively listen, problem solve and communicate effectively
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment; proactive in seeking out information when necessary
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project Professional and Microsoft Project Server.
Locations: Edinburgh, South Australia, Fishermans Bend, Victoria or Fairbairn, ACT
Contract Term: 12 Months (Plus 2 x 6 Months Extension options)
