Tender Description
The Shire of Katanning is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced aquatic facility managers to undertake the management of the Katanning Aquatic Centre. The successful tenderer will need to demonstrate how it will work in partnership with the Shire and the local community in terms of provision of services and agreed programmes and activities.
The Katanning Aquatic Centre is located on Park Street within the town of Katanning. The Centre includes a 50m outdoor Olympic size swimming pool, a toddler and learn to swim pool, change rooms/amenities, grassed areas, a small playground, seating, BBQs, shade sails and structure, filtration/plant room, first aid room and storage areas. A kiosk with office space is also operated at the centre. The centre is open seasonally from 1 November to 31 March.
The successful tender will be required to enter into a fixed price contractual agreement with the Shire of Katanning for a period of three (3) years with an option to renew for a further three (3) years.
An alternate tender price is requested with the centre opening being the fourth (4) Sunday in October and closing on the second (2) Sunday in April.
