Tender Description

The VPA requires a client-side Project Manager to manage the delivery of our updated commercial office fit out on Level 25, 35 Collins Street, Melbourne.

The primary role of the Project Manager will be to represent the VPA in negotiations and ongoing management of a principal construction contractor.

This includes:

  • Providing advice and support for the procurement of a principal construction contractor.
  • Act as a Superintendent and Project Manager for the planning, construction and commissioning of the office fit out.
  • Management of the various suppliers involved in the delivery of the office fit out, including design consultants, surveyors, the principal construction contractor, and their sub-contractors.
  • Management of the project budget and schedule, including management of change requests and EOT claims from other contractors, to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the brief, within budget and within an acceptable timeframe.

Contractor MUST be pre-qualified in the Project Management category of the Victorian Government Construction Supplier Register (CSR). Quotations from suppliers that are NOT pre-qualified in this category will not be considered.
