Overview

This payment is available to support South Australian workers who are required to:

• self-isolate awaiting a COVID-19 test result
• care for someone self-isolating after a COVID-19 test.

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must:

• have been identified by SA Health as a casual contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in South Australia from 23 November onwards
• have been tested for COVID-19 and are required to self-isolate pending test results
• be 17 years or older
• have been scheduled to work during the isolation period
• be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or a holder of a necessary visa and
• work permits
• have no access to paid leave or other income support.
