The Aboriginal Business Round provides funding for Aboriginal businesses to help them gain opportunities as suppliers of major projects and markets in Australia and overseas.

Funding of up to $50,000 (excluding GST).

Overview
Funding can be used for activities such as:

• expert consultant services
• upgrading plant and equipment
• implementing improvements to internal business infrastructure and systems
• staff training and upskilling.

Funding of up to $50,000 (excluding GST) is available to cover 75% of eligible costs.

What are the eligibility criteria?
To be eligible, your business must:

• have an Australian business number (ABN)
• be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
• be a company or trustee incorporated in Australia
• be an Aboriginal business (minimum 50% owned by an Aboriginal interest) registered with either the Aboriginal Business Directory Western Australia or Supply Nation's Indigenous Business Direct
• have your principal place of business (operating facility) in Western Australia and continue to be based in Western Australia for at least the next 12 months
• have been in business and operating for at least 12 months
• employ less than 200 people.
