The NSW Government will be seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) to divest government owned land and seek a private sector partnership opportunity to deliver education infrastructure on the corner of Victoria Road and James Ruse Drive. The land is currently jointly owned by the Department of Education and Department of Communities and Justice.

The first phase of the EOI process is a market sounding pre – registration to alert the private sector about the forthcoming opportunity to deliver a market leading mixed-use residential and education precinct in partnership with the NSW Government.

The request for pre-registration is targeted to commence on the 4 July 2022 and close on the 29 July 2022 with the release of the formal EOI to follow shortly thereafter.

The NSW Government will undertake an open market Expression of Interest (EOI) campaign to call for development partners to submit proposals to deliver the following key criteria:

•Value for divestment of surplus land
•Demonstrate development capability and ability to partner with Government in a constructive and collaborative approach
•Residential delivery strategy (affordable homes, build to rent, executive housing)
•New Primary and High school for circa 3000 students
•Integrated development and education precinct
•Explore opportunity to deliver enhanced outcomes via alternate delivery options, compared to a traditional property methods

The outcome of the EOI will determine the next steps in planning for future educational facilities in the Rydalmere area.
