Tender Description
The Port of Portland invites tenders for No.2 Transit Shed Roof and Purlin Replacement.
The No.2 transit shed is 152.5m long, 36.6m wide, and 10.6m high at the eaves. The work involves project site safety management, removal and disposal of existing internal box guttering, and guttering support steelwork, whirlybirds, roof vents and roof sheeting. The supply and installation of new purlins, roof sheeting, whirlybirds, roof vents and external guttering.
The works shall be carried out following the standard form of contract unless otherwise noted.
The drawings, and other appendices referenced in this document, further define the scope of work and should be read in conjunction.
The contract will be a lump sum contract not subject to price adjustment for rise and fall in prices.
