Tender Description
The Borough of Queenscliffe (Council) have been granted funding to undertake works at the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse Reserve. The key deliverable of the project, which is the subject of this tender process, is the external restoration of the historic P1 Huts at the site.
The Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver the following scope of works:
- Removal and disposal of all asbestos material lining the exterior of the P1 Huts
- External restoration of P1 Huts to original condition, including cladding external walls, replacing roof sheeting and restoration of windows, doors, and base boards.
- Manufacture and installation of interpretive signage as documented
- Restoration of existing pathways and landscaping (nominal allowance as detailed within Part 4 of the tender package)
