Tender Description

Tenders are invited from pre-qualified contractors with Transport for NSW under the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts at R4 for Roadworks and Financial Level F50, to deliver the Henry Lawson Drive Upgrade Stage 1A project. This upgrade consists of widening of a 1.1 kilometre length of Henry Lawson Drive between Auld Avenue, Milperra, and Tower Road, Bankstown Aerodrome, creating two lanes in each direction along Henry Lawson Drive. As part of the upgrade, Henry Lawson Drive’s intersections with Newbridge Road/Milperra Road and Tower Road will be upgraded to provide additional right turn lanes.

The physical construction works include, but not limited to, earthworks, pavement construction, reinforced earth retaining wall, traffic signals, drainage, water quality treatment devices, urban landscape, walking and cycling shared path, bus stop facilities, private property accesses and building demolishment, and the adjustment of public utilities.

A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held via Teams on Wednesday 10 August 2022, from 10:00am to 12:00pm. All interested tenders to confirm attendance and send details of their representative (provide name(s), email(s)) to email HLD.Tender@transport.nsw.gov.au by COB Monday 8 August 2022. Invite will be issued on the 9 August 2022 to the email addresses provided.

An (Optional) site inspection will be held on Thursday 11 August 2022 between 10:00am and 12:00pm, All interested tenderers to confirm attendance (provide name(s), contact details (email and number) to email HLD.Tender@transport.nsw.gov.au by COB Monday 8 August 2022. Details of the site visit will be provided later.

All tenderers who will attend the site inspection will be required to comply with Covid-19 related social distancing requirements. All attendees must wear standard personal protective equipment during the site inspection. Attendance at the site inspection is strictly limited to two representatives per tenderer.

Attendance at the pre-tender meeting is mandatory however the site inspection is not considered mandatory to submit a conforming tender.

All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework), NSW Government Supplier Code of Conduct (NSW Code) and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement (NSW Guidelines).
