Biosis is undertaking an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment and test excavations for a proposed subdivision at 39 Currawang Drive, Springvale, NSW, within the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area on behalf of Aaron De Jong: (Aaron De Jong, 0438 212 715, quidvil@bigpond.net.au).
Biosis invites Aboriginal people who hold cultural knowledge in determining the significance of Aboriginal object(s) andr places in the vicinity of the above area to register their interest in a process of community consultation.
The purpose of Aboriginal community consultation is to assist Aaron De Jong in preparing an AHIP application (if required), and to assist Heritage NSW, Department of Planning and Environment (Heritage NSW) in their consideration and determination of the application. The project will be undertaken in accordance with the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974.
