The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for Portable C-ITS Station, Roadworks Proof of Concept.
Queensland are readying for C-ITS deployment by type approving suitable roadside ITS stations on to an approved supplier list. To test and approve roadside stations, TMR are developing a specification that encourages harmonised delivery in Queensland and assists national understanding.
This work will support the development of TMR's roadside specification by understanding the commonly supported/ industry-standard product available for portable (mobile) uses in roadworks.
The intent of this scope is to demonstrate the capability of suppliers to provide solutions in the portable C-ITS roadside station space. This is focused on:
- Understanding how conforming COTS (commercial off the shelf) product would operate in Queensland and what should be included in TMR's specification,
- Development of the minimum essential interfaces required to share data in TMR's current system, and
- Demonstration of market-ready product to invited future government and industry users.
